The Rocky Patel Hamlet 25th Year cigar was developed by celebrated Cuban master blender and roller Hamlet Paredes. This is the second Patel cigar brought to you by Hamlet. The brand was created to honor Hamlet’s impressive contributions to the cigar industry for over a quarter of a century.
Hamlet expressed that he wanted a milder blend for the cigar. To achieve this, he used a Honduran and Nicaraguan filler blend, a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The use of a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder here is interesting. Tobacco grown in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is dense, resilient, and quite combustible. It’s these characteristics that helped Pennsylvania broadleaf become a popular binder in the first place.
Get the Rocky Patel Hamlet 25th Year cigar burning, and you’ll taste notes of vanilla, sweet nougat, sharp woodiness, and mild coffee.
