This Caldwell Lost and Found Malditos Bastardos Habano 2000 Toro cigar is made in the Dominican Republic. Outside, you'll find an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper. Inside, the binder is Indonesian, and the filler is Dominican. This is a Toro with a length of 6.00 and a ring gauge of 52.

The secretive Lost and Found project is one of the more unique in the cigar industry. Robert Caldwell and his team travel far and wide hunting for lost treasure, only this treasure is tobacco, and the longer it stays hidden, the longer it ages, the greater the find. When they return home with said treasure and gift it to the world (for a small price, of course), they are celebrated among some circles like folk heroes. Even though we smokers are unaware of the name of the operation where they found the tobacco, we do know it often hails from some of today's leading cigar makers. Add to this all those extra years of aging, and we're talking about some real gems.

These particular Lost and Found stogies are part of the company's GAF (Give a F***) program, where a portion of each sale goes to help inner-city youth in the areas of positive hobbies and education.

Caldwell Lost and Found Malditos Bastardos cigars were produced in 2014 in the Dominican Republic. You'll find Mexican and Dominican long-fillers held by a Connecticut Habano binder at the cigar's core. Finishing the stick is an alluring Cameroon wrapper leaf. This all leads to rich chocolate, cinnamon, and cream flavor notes.

Malditos Bastardos translates to "damn bastards" and the packaging's font is reminiscent of Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, which took its name from an Italian movie from the late 1970s and altered the spelling of "Bastards." Caldwell Lost and Found Malditos Bastardos cigars are limited to a one-time release of just 1,250 stogies. Don't miss it!
