We first saw Caldwell Lost and Found Pepper and Cream Soda cigars in 2014 before the brand changed its name from Impromptu. These were the first line of found cigars that Robert Caldwell and his merry bunch of tobacco treasure hunters released to the world. As with all Lost and Found lines, that release was extremely limited, but now the cigar is back, and you have a chance here to get your hands on some, though this time they're maduros.

The aging process for these tobaccos began somewhere between two and seven years prior to their 2016 rolling. This cigar was my first try with Caldwell, and this was totally worth the wait. What a beautiful smoke. The cigar was nicely constructed, and the initial draw was smooth and showed a nice billowy cloud of smoke. The first part of the stick was rich and smooth with peppery, caramel notes, similar to, believe it or not, a can of root beer or cream soda. It was delicious, and drew well. The middle of the cigar moved in to a silky smooth smoke with notes of cedar and a hint of earth. It ended like all high quality cigars do, with a really great finish and this cigar was what cigar smoking should be. A great experience.
