Fine Cigar, but...
When a cigar is this expensive, expectations are high. That being said, this wasn’t a perfect cigar. Construction was not as refined as expected. It was dressed up with a cedar sleeve and a eye catching double band, but the wrapper wasn’t oily or symmetrically wrapped. It had an open draw, which I liked, but it was because it wasn’t really fully packed. Flavors were not particularly complex, which leads me to question the blend. I’ve had some vintage cigars that were both firmly bundled, symmetrically wrapped, beautiful to the eye, and that smoked superbly. They were less money too. This cigar is good, but it’s simply a “luxury cigar”- popular nowadays - rather than a craftsman’s piece. More show than substance, considering the price.

Perfect!
Great experience!!! Perfect Description, Great Smoke!!!!
Dear Lord!
I bought these for friends as my initial smoke was too benign for my tastes. A customer golf outing completely changed my mind. It’s now one of my favorite Opus X’s. Mad props to Juan for convincing me to give it another try myself when I said that it was for others who “don’t know cigars”.
