Arturo Fuente Forbidden X Torch Bearer 2012 Description
This Arturo Fuente Forbidden X Torch Bearer 2012 cigar is made in Dominican Republic. Outside, you'll find a Hand Selected Dominican Republic wrapper. Inside, the binder is Dominican, and the filler is Dominican. This is a Double Corona cigar with a length of 7.50 and a ring gauge of 49.
Searching for flavor, still searching. The Torch Bearer comes in a dark pretty, extremely dry maduro wrapper that is crispy to the touch. Pre draw is sweet aged tobacco. Even though I made a small cut in the cap the draw was too open, this is a firm cigar. The first half, very light smoke, mild, flavorless. First long ash dropped at the 50 minute mark, the last went with the butt an hour and 45 minutes in. In the last third, it smoked like a Fuente. If there was any flavor, a bit of tamale in the retro-hale. A bit disappointing...
I've had better Canones.. The strength is very, very mild. Not worth the price... 1 hour 45 smoke. At the very end possibly a bit of caramel. For that, I would smoke a La Flor Dominicano El Jocko for a 1/7 of the price.
