Oscar Valladares Ciseron Edition
But Oscar Valladares Ciseron Edition cigars are, without question, the work of a great artist – just not one who works in painting. The artist behind these flavorful gems, of course, works in the medium of tobacco.
Oscar Valladares Ciseron Edition cigars are the first from this company not to use Honduran leaf. Instead, these are mostly Nicaraguan blends that feature handsome russet brown Ecuadorian Habano wrappers.
The flavors in each draw are incredibly rewarding and warm. There’s fragrant wood and nuts to open up the smoke, leading into a treat note of sweet vanilla that Halfwheel said reminded them of a fast-food milkshake. That could be enticing to some and not to others, but we offer it up for your consideration. Their review summed things up by saying, “Each one is clean, balanced, burns incredibly well, and left me with a positive impression, so much so that I'd easily smoke more.”
Coming from guys who literally smoke great cigars for a living, that’s very high praise, as far as we’re concerned.
The artist who inspired the Oscar Valladares Ciseron Edition cigars is a Honduran painter who’s been exhibiting works since the 90s. The Internet informs us that his style can be described as both Post-Cubist Subrealism and Minimalism. If you’re looking for some homegrown Latin art, check out his stuff in online galleries and see if anything speaks to you. Who knows, you could be lighting up one of these tasty stogies under the glow of a bona fide Ciserón someday!
