A strange thing happened to us the other day. It happened to us after we decided to try out one of the Ashton Estate Sun Grown cigars.
We knew that these Ashton cigars, commonly known as the Ashton ESG, were nicknamed the “velvet hammer” by the folks at Ashton for their ability to knock your brains out with a smile on your face – thanks to their classic Ashton smooth palate and mind-blowing strength. Wrong, it turns out. As soon as we lit the Ashton, our palate was swept away by creamy waves of almond, nutmeg, fresh leather, cinnamon, and cloves. At the same time, our brain buzzed with nicotine like nothing we've experienced before from Ashon cigars. Before we knew it, an hour and a half had gone by and the cigar burned our fingertips, snapping us out of our reverie. But as we came to our senses we knew what we had to do.
