Crowned Heads Mil Dias
Crowned Heads Mil Dias cigars are the brand’s second line produced at Tabacalera Pichardo in Estelí, Nicaragua. Crowned Heads got to work on the blend in 2017 when co-founder Jon Huber received blend samples from Eradio Pichardo and Luciano Meirelles. These samples took the group on a 1,000-day excursion to produce the blend found in Crowned Heads Mil Dias cigars today.
No one seems to be complaining about the wait and for good reason. Long fillers from Peru, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua comprise the filler blend. Embracing these tobaccos, we have a Nicaraguan binder that rests just below a lightly oiled Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The potent Nicaraguan tobaccos combined with the unique, complex flavors of Peruvian tobacco work well together due to, in part, their peppery sides.
Similar to Nicaragua, Costa Rican tobacco farms are built on volcanic soil loaded with minerals. The country also has the right climate to produce tobacco boasting a smooth and robust flavor profile.
Spark up one of these Mil Dias smokes, and you are in for a flavorful experience of light pepper, cream, wood, and baker’s chocolate.
Please enjoy Crowned Heads Mil Dias cigars at your leisure.
