Would you believe a value cigar brand landed on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of the Year list? The Brick House Natural cigar did it, and it barely broke a sweat.
Aside from being named the #17 cigar of 2017 and earning a 93-point rating, the Brick House Natural cigar is a gorgeous Nicaraguan puro that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. It falls into that perfect sweet spot where each dollar you spend goes a very long way.
Of course, one man’s value smoke is another man’s luxury smoke, so we understand that not everyone sees this cigar the same way. But in a cigar industry where premium cigars can go for $10, $15, $20, and more for just a single stogie, we think a high-quality cigar at this price point is a good value. The Brick House Natural is not necessarily a bulk bargain – there might be a time and place for sticks like that – but it’s still a solid way to spend your cigar budget.
The flavors come in strong and satisfying. Cigar Aficionado called out warm and enjoyable notes like bread, nougat, and chocolate, while other respected reviewers have praised the creamy, sweet, and spicy flavors. It’s not a flavor bomb, but it’s plenty flavorful. The Brick House Natural cigar also features something the company calls a “Havana Subido” wrapper leaf. We couldn’t find more info about what might make that special, but we’ll just think of it as a Habano-Seed wrapper for now.
A nice cigar at a nice price. We’re sold.
