Black Label Trading Co Deliverance Nocturne
The Deliverance Nocturne is a limited, annual release from Black Label Trading Company, which first became available in 2015. Initially, the cigar was presented in two dramatic shapes—Salomon Snub Nose and Short Salomon Snub Nose—which taper downward to provide a thin head and bulging foot. The line recently added a perfecto shape with a narrow foot and bulging body measuring in at 5 x 56.
Powering this stogie are filler tobaccos from Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania portion is Ligero which lends to the fuller strength side of the cigar. Holding this blend snug is a lively Nicaraguan Habano binder. Wrapping it all up is Pennsylvania broadleaf.
Regarding this wrapper, James Brown stated, “The Nocturne highlights everything I love about PA Broadleaf. The rich, complex, and bold earthiness of the wrapper highlights the unique blend of this cigar.” The leaf is dark chocolate brown and slightly oily. The overall presentation of the stick is striking.
Once burning, this medium-full-bodied cigar will treat you to flavors of spicy pepper, earth, leather, nuts, and more. It’s a slow smoke, which is fantastic, considering the shape and band alone will have you hypnotized. This is one cigar that you’ll never want to see an end, though you’ll be that much more stoked when it’s time to smoke another.
Please enjoy Black Label Trading Company Deliverance Nocturne cigars at your leisure.
