Jason originally appeared in 2013 as the JV13, the sixth release in Tatuaje's original Monster Series. Handcrafted in Nicaragua, the Jason Redux 6 features a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Its substantial Double Corona format gives the blend plenty of room to develop, allowing the richness of the Broadleaf and intensity of the Nicaraguan tobaccos to evolve throughout the smoke.

Production is limited to just 5,000 boxes of 13 cigars, for a total of only 65,000 cigars. But Pete Johnson added another twist to the release.

Only 700 boxes receive the special presentation treatment. Of those, 666 boxes are sequentially numbered, while another 34 are marked “XX.” Most importantly for collectors, the 666 numbered boxes feature the opposite side of Jason's mask on the box artwork, creating an even scarcer variation within the already limited release.

Presented in a 13-count coffin-style box, Jason Redux 6 carries forward the details that made the Monster Series so much fun to collect in the first place.
