Partagas de Bronce cigars demonstrate beautifully that even venerable old Cuban brands can be entrusted to the tobacco and rollers of other nations. In this case, Partagas uses Nicaraguan leaf and the incredibly skilled torcedores of the El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami’s Little Havana to produce a cigar that is flavorful and quite the attractive stick.

Get a load of the row of them in their fresh box, and tell us you wouldn’t like to reach in and have yourself a smoke. They’re definitely asking to be lit up!

This is the first non-Cuban Partagas limited-edition cigar that is made in the United States, so we’re seeing an evolution for fans of the brand. The high-quality Nicaraguan long-filler at the core of Partagas de Bronce cigars is expertly bunched using the classic entubado method and then wrapped in a traditional seco Corojo wrapper. It’s a “top-down blend,” including strong ligero medio tiempo along with some viso dulce. These leaves combine flavor with smoke production in proper balance, leading to a cigar that is enchanting.

At the end of the painstaking process, the rollers have created a hearty 6.25 x 46 gran corona ready for smoking.

Partagas de Bronce cigars bring in the aromas and tastes of malted chocolate milkshake, cedar, fall spices, and graham crackers. It’s interesting, with just the right amount of pepper, and lightly sweet – just the kind of thing you’d love to get in a Cuban homage blend. STG, the brand’s owner, has found a great partner in ETdB and owner Sandy Cobas to produce this special run of stogies.

Production is limited to 5,000 10-cigar boxes, each signed by the factory roller that made them. They’re in the same price range as Cohiba Serie M, another Cuban-roots cigar made by STG.

For traditionalists, this is a must-smoke.
