Great cigar. One of my daily go to sticks!
The construction of this stick really stands out – pretty firm and I thought the draw would be tight but it wasn’t. Creamy coffee flavor with more spice slowly building but never hot. Like a milder Punch Gran Puro. Quite delicious.
I’m a fan of the Montecristo #2 and this cigar has similar characteristics but is just more full-flavored with more body. It was slightly sweet and very rich – toasted nuts and strong espresso with a hotter finish. It was a very worthwhile smoke and I’ll do it again when I’m in the mood for something zestier.
This cigar is a really good value compared to an Cabaiguan, and just as tasty, IMO. Nutty spice with citrus notes and chocolate on the finish. The burn ran just a bit and required 2 small touch ups. A slight distraction. Otherwise, a top notch cigar.
One of the better cigars I’ve had of lately and that includes some quality stogies like the Perdomo Estate Vintage 1991. Plus, the price is outstanding for a cigar of this quality. Mine was aged 8 months and couldn’t have been tastier.
