A Little Steep

This is a very good cigar and one worth about ¾ of the asking price, so if you can find them on sale, don’t hesitate. At full price I’d rather go with 2-3 of my regulars like the 858 Natural or a Joya de Nicaragua. The construction and burn are excellent. The flavor is good, not great.

Imperfect Pleasure

I’ve had a few of these and the burn is not as perfect as many say. Both the cigars I smoked needed touch-ups. Okay, that’s all the bad. The flavor is as good as advertised and I really relished it – apart from the occasional distractions of a wandering burn line. It’s full but not overpowering, with highlights of traditional leather and cedar along with plenty of strong coffee and toasted chestnuts. Nice sweet hints on the finish.
