    Better options for me

This is a pricey cigar that sometimes lives up to the cost and sometimes not. I’ve had a dozen or so and find them slightly inconsistent in taste, with maybe a quarter of them somewhat boring in the first half. I prefer a more consistently reliable cigar like the Oliva Series G at a much better price.

    Too Moist

This one came out of the humidor, set at 70% humidity, tough to light. I had to touch it up several times in the first 1-2 inches but then it was good to go. Very rich flavors include leathery cedar, black cherry and espresso with it getting more intense in the last couple of inches. I’d compare it to the Avo Domaine No.30 in flavor.

    First of Many

The Padron 1964 Monarcas Natural had a lot more spice than I expected and that was not at all bad. I had to pour a single malt on the rocks to cool my tongue and that only made the whole experience better. Totally delicious.
