Nice, veinless wrapper. I used a whole punch to get going. Beautiful brownish white smoke. Ashed it only twice. It starts out with toasted nuts and then picks up peppery flavors before mellowing into dark coffee with a hint of something like cinnamon, though not exactly. Reminds me of a Fuente Short Story Cameroon. It’s an intriguing 40 minute smoke.
I really enjoy the flavor blend in this little Nicaraguan puro, my favorite in the Padron 1926 lineup. I usually taste coffee, anise, dark cocoa, peanuts, slight pepper and salsa-type spices. They come and go, making for a world-class cigar.
Great smoke. Wish it wasnt such a short cigar. Good burn and great taste.
This one is tough to smoke just because of the beauity of it. The quality construction and care are evident in the near perfect burn. The stick starts out with some earthy, peppery tones, and eventually come arount to an almost spicy leather. The transition is wonderful and produces tons of billowy white smoke.
Cigar wrapper was peeling when I received cigar. Seemed a little dry and loose, burned hot. Not a great cigar for a Padron. Peppery flavor mellowed out into a woodesy flavor.
