OV Heaven and Hell Claro (White) Toro
Heavenly blend, fly me away!
Oscar Valladares Heaven and Hell Claro cigars are part of a set of twin blends. Inside both the Heaven and Hell cigars are Honduran long-fillers and a chocolatey Mexican San Andrés binder. But for this white claro cigar, you’ll find a Honduran Connecticut wrapper. This changes up the flavor profile of the smoke quite a bit, making this one far milder and smoother than its infernal counterpart.
But before we go any further, we have to point out the real reason folks will want these stogies: the wings! Right there on the band are expandable wings that are partially detached so that they can flap as needed. While you’re smoking these cigars, the wings will be outstretched to each side of the stick, making it look like you’re smoking a tiny little tobacco angel.
If you’re looking for a conversation starter, ye have found it, mortal.
The flavors are quite nice on the Oscar Valladares Heaven and Hell Claro cigars. The core of the profile is leather and cocoa, with a surprising hint of cinnamon in the mix. But it’s only a hint. This cigar puffs up mild and nothing sticks out too far in the flavor set.
Oscar Valladares is no stranger to making cigars that catch your eye. In fact, his career was launched on Leaf by Oscar, which used a raw tobacco leaf to protect the cigar instead of cellophane. It was the type of blend you see in a cigar shop and you just have to grab. And once you grab it, you just might buy it. The same is true here. His cigars are the kind that get your attention and thankfully deliver a tasty piece of puff when it comes time to smoke.
On smoky wings, we ascend to the Pearly Gates. We expect that this won’t apply to all of you, however. We heard there are some sinners among you. If this is the case, please make your way to the Hell blend, which should be more in line with your tastes.
This Oscar Valladares Heaven and Hell Claro Toro cigar is made in Honduras. Outside, you'll find a Honduran Connecticut wrapper, the binder is Mexican, and the filler is Honduran. This is a Mild-Medium Toro-shaped cigar with a length of 6.00 and a ring gauge of 52.
