I wasn’t sure what to expect with the funky wrapper, but the Leaf by Oscar Criollo really wowed me. Coca-Cola-like notes of molasses, vanilla, and cinnamon, combined with pepper, mesquite wood, and some savory, meaty leatheriness. Lots of chewy smoke output. It was like smoking a BBQ! My only gripe is that the construction was so-so, with an uneven burn and flaky ash. Still, I’d 100% smoke this again.
