El Septimo Sacred Arts Michelangelo Eagle
El Septimo Sacred Arts Michelangelo cigars are part of a seven-blend series. Each one is dedicated to one of the days of Biblical creation in Genesis, as well as a famous work of art. This cigar draws inspiration from The Creation of Adam. You’ve definitely seen this one before. It’s a painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel that depicts Adam on the left holding out a finger as God stretches toward him to give him the gift of life.
Pay homage to this moment when you hold out the foot of your cigar and stretch a lighter towards it to give it a spark of life. Sweet, sweet smoky life.
The tobacco used is undisclosed, unfortunately. But perhaps it’s fitting. At this moment, we have not eaten of the Tree of Knowledge, which brings us information about this stogie. Instead, we can enjoy it as Adam did in the Garden of Eden. It’s pure. It’s a pleasure. Enjoy it, and be free from the burden of thought.
The El Septimo Sacred Arts Michelangelo cigar is a 5 x 50 robusto. This is a classic format for a tobacco roll that El Septimo for some reason calls an “Eagle.” We will watch our smoke rings take flight like majestic birds as we puff on this one, thinking of how much better life might be if we had never eaten that damn apple.
The blend is tied to the second day of creation when God created the sky, separating it from the waters below. There wasn’t land yet, or boats. There weren’t animals of any kind. There was light and dark, sky and water. A bit of a minimalist moment in time, if you will. Consider it as you toast up the oily wrapper of the Michelangelo cigar. It delivers a wonderful spice kick, as well as notes of leather and dark roasted coffee.
Somehow, God was able to wake up without any coffee at all on the first day, and without any light. That’s how we know he’s a special being. (Of course, we know some roughnecks out there who do the same thing, so maybe we’ll have to reconsider that opinion.)
This El Septimo Sacred Arts Michelangelo Eagle cigar is made in Costa Rica. Outside, you'll find an undisclosed wrapper. Inside, the binder is undisclosed, and the filler is undisclosed. This is a Medium strength Robusto shaped cigar with a length of 5.50 and a ring gauge of 50.
