Almost Exotic, Always Delicious
There’s a spiciness to the pre-lit draw of the CAO Italia Ciao that is consistent with the flavors you get when smoking it. It’s a robust spice that isn’t especially hot. I’d compare it to the Onyx Reserve cigars in taste and aroma. The draw on about half of these has been a little tight, but not too bad. Which is my only complaint.
Zesty Smoke
I enjoy CAO Gold cigars but wanted something stronger. The reviews of the CAO Italia Ciao sounded about right – and they were right on target. It’s very flavorful and complex and kept me very interested. I like plenty of spice and this cigar has it. Not hot spice but zesty types that don’t overwhelm. Also tasted leather and cedar notes. Very enjoyable.
Crisp and Tasty
The CAO Italia Ciao is a dynamic little powerhouse! The blend is really crisp, perfect for the robusto ring gauge. The stogie lit well and immediately offered a pleasant blend of bread and caramel and then became stronger with spiced apples or apricots, much like an Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra. Burned very well right to the nub. Very good cigar.
A decent performance from CAO
The CAO Italia Ciao is a firm cigar with an inconsistant draw and I had an uneven burn. Leather with some cedar and a slightly sweet finish with hints of coffee. Fairly full bodied, and not at all harsh.
Top Notch Blend
The draw and burn of this one is just right. It’s perfectly constructed. The CAO Italia Ciao is full-bodied with lots of flavor – mostly rich espresso and cocoa from beginning to end, with leather lurking at the edges. I enjoyed the blend immensely and will be back for more.
