The CAO Gold Corona started out just a touch bitter which surprised me. It quickly mellowed however and became a tasty smoke with medium flavor. Woodsy with slightly sweet spots. Everything else was excellent – construction and burn line, etc. The price paid for these makes them a very good value.
This cigar is very smooth and rich. Very high quality.
The CAO Gold Corona I had was as advertised, a creamy smooth smoke with notes of butter and vanilla. Its mild to medium flavor is very relaxing and warm. Very long finish turns to roasted nuts, which is where I tasted a similarity to the Ashton Classic. The cigar featured excellent construction and a crisp burn line the whole way.
