For birds, getting into the air is easy, you just flap your wings and glide away. For people, it’s different. We need tons of fuel to make our planes fly. In French, “plane” is “avion.” Thus, the Tatuaje Avion cigar is a nod to aviation. Will it make you fly? Well, it’s a full strength cigar, full bodied, and full of flavor. This is a robust one that will probably send you – or at least your mind - into the sky.
But be careful, if you smoke it too fast you’ll be on the floor!
The Tatuaje Avion is often available in an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro or Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, and is actually an annual limited release, so things might be changing one year to the next. You can probably count on that classic Tatuaje Nicaraguan binder and filler blend, though. Historically, this line was based on the Tatuaje Fausto cigar blend, but as time goes on, it is becoming a line in its own right. You’ll enjoy a full buffet of flavors including earth, pepper, oak, espresso, cocoa, and more.
One last note: the Tatuaje Avion is box-pressed, which leads to a tighter, longer burn, and also a more stable flavor profile as you go through the cigar. It also looks pretty handsome, in our opinion.
