Over a decade has passed since the original release of the Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Corojo cigar. The blend played a significant role in the initial success of Rocky Patel, leaving many to wonder why it disappeared from shelves in the first place. Well, the blend is back, reimagined, and better than ever.
The box-pressed Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Corojo cigars are produced in the Paraiso factory of Danlí, Honduras. These well-aged sticks boast a core blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers cradled by a Nicaraguan binder. For the updated wrapper Rocky Patel selected a reddish-brown oiled-up Honduran Corojo leaf. Honduran Corojo wrappers are known for their spicy and sweet characteristics and high complexity. This particular wrapper brings much more natural sweetness than it does spice. Expect notes of graham cracker, chocolate, and wood with a sweet finish.
Perhaps this is your first Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Corojo cigar, or you’re reuniting with a long-lost smoke. Either way, you are way ahead of the game puffing on one of these fine, medium-strength premiums.
