Quesada Oktoberfest 2023
When the Festbier flows, the music is loud, and the outfits are silly, it’s time to light up Quesada Oktoberfest 2023 cigars!
Back for another round is the Oktoberfest blend, and it’s as tasty as ever. We don’t know what possessed this Dominican company to create a stogie for this theme, but we love seeing international connections. Of course, Oktoberfest's allure in Germany is undeniable if you like getting sauced with an entire town’s worth of people, but we digress.
Let’s take a look at this cigar.
The long-filler blend is delicious Dominican tobacco, and the wrapper is a punchy Mexican San Andrés leaf. You get a lot of flavor from the blend, led by an oaky wood note. This is joined to roasted nuts, cocoa, and something like bitters that would go into an old-fashioned to add complexity. It’s quite the mélange and turns the cigar into something that would stand just fine on its own.
But it’s meant to be paired with beer. Let’s not lose sight of that. Fortunately, tons of Oktoberfest beers are on the market today, so you’re not suffering from a lack of choice. Paulaner, Troëgs, and many more offer an authentic style of lager that will serve as a refreshing companion for the 2023 Quesada Oktoberfest cigar.
Don’t miss the Salomon press size if you can find it in stock! It’s a unique Vitola and pairs quite well with copious drinking. It’s meant to “symbolize the fertility of the Cibao Valley.” As if we needed more innuendo on our drinking nights…
