Padron Thousand Series 3000 Natural Description
This Padron Thousand Series 3000 Natural cigar is made in Nicaragua. Outside, you'll find a Nicaraguan Natural wrapper. Inside, the binder is Nicaraguan, and the filler is Nicaraguan. This is a Robusto cigar with a length of 5.50 and a ring gauge of 52.
The Padrón Thousand Series is the “original” Padrón line. While the company’s reputation as the most masterful cigar making operation in the world was earned off the quality of the 1926 Anniversary and Family Reserve lines, the humble Thousand Series has been both reliably excellent and affordable throughout the years. The company’s most renowned sticks can climb up to $40 per cigar, but these are far more wallet-friendly.
The blend, however, is much the same as you’ll find in Padrón’s Cigar of the Year winners: aged Nicaraguan puro wrapped in either a Natural or Maduro leaf. The flavor profile is also similar in some ways (like the rich chocolate note, along with sweetness), but also differs by offering toasted nuts and cedar.
We think of this as an accessible way to experience the world-class quality of the Padrón aged Nicaraguan tobacco hoard. They have leaves maturing for five and even ten years, in some cases, and the Thousand Series lets you snag a few cigars made from the newer additions to the family leaf stash for your own humidor.
Potent, complex, and made by the masters – please enjoy our Thousand Series collection, from Padrón.
The 3000 may be the best every day" cigar on the market. It burns consistently a gray/white ash; never burns and has excellent medium to full body flavor. "
At least this poor man’s! I’d equate the Padron 3000 Natural in flavor to the Montecristo regular but at a much cheaper price. They really are that good and at this price they are tough to beat. The flavor is medium and very satisfying; the burn, draw, ash, etc. are all right on.
Consistantly great smoke.
Let’s be frank – the Padron 3000 Natural is not a pretty stick, lol! The wrapper has good color but it is rough and rugged. Light this one up and that no longer matters because this is a very tasty stick from the very first draw. Starts with a blast of pepper and then moderates to a mix of salsa spices and leather with sweet hints now and then. I’d rate this one of the best $5 sticks I’ve ever had along with the 5 Vegas Series A. A great value.
A little rough if your worried about appearance. Easy draw, medium on the strength scale and hard to beat for the money!
