I’ve had a few of these and they tend to be bitter in the second half. First half offers leather and peanuts but then gets ****. Nice construction, burn and draw but not a consistent flavor you can enjoy throughout. For the price the overall smoke is decent.
Easily one of the best cigars at this price point that you’ll find. I’d rank it right there with other top $5-$6 smokes like the Partagas Spanish Rosado or Hoyo de Monterrey. Lots of flavor comes through an easy draw with tons of billowy smoke. There’s the standard Padron/Nicaraguan coffee and cocoa along with pleasant amounts of spice. Very satisfying every time.
Padron 2000 (maduro) was one of the first boxes i ever bought, i now keep on hand for my daily smoke rotation, its a Padron, lots of flavor, sweet dark wrapper leaves, construction is never in question, medium burn, if you can, smoke one then let them sit in your humidor for a couple of months, youll notice a big diference it will even turn the plastic wrapping a little brown, and your not going to find many better cigars for a little over $3 a stick
