Macanudo Inspirado Red
We love seeing a brand with a proven formula operate outside of that formula to produce new blends. With Macanudo Inspirado Red cigars, the brand wants to tap into the popularity of Nicaraguan smokes and introduce a “Nicaraguan-forward blend” for palates in that strength and flavor ballpark. It is important to note that most Macanudos are produced at the General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. Macanudo Inspirado Red cigars hail from Nicaragua.
First filler tobaccos from the Jamastran region of Honduras and the Ometepe and Estelí regions of Nicaragua are hand chosen and aged. The tobacco from Ometepe ages twelve years, and the portion from Jamastran ages ten before the Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa holds these together. A tidy Ecuadoran Habano Ligero wrapper finishes everything off. This complex smoke delivers pepper, spice, cocoa, and cinnamon flavor notes.
