Macanudo Inspirado Green
One thing every Macanudo cigar has in common, including Macanudo Inspirado Green cigars, is the road they travel. A team of agronomists is with the cigar from start to finish. This includes selecting the perfect seeds, prepping the soil with nutrients, and guiding the planting and refinement process.
Traditionally, the harvested tobacco leaves used in Macanudo cigars are air-cured for more than 30 days and fermented for up to six months. This fermentation process helps deepen the flavor and aroma of the leaves. The wrapper leaves age for at least two years. Once the filler tobaccos age for up to two years, they are thoughtfully placed into Dominican rum barrels that add to the flavor. This Inspirado line deviates from this historic Macanudo blueprint a bit, such as how long the tobacco ages, which is often much longer.
Macanudo Inspirado Green cigars are where the flavors of Colombian and Brazilian tobaccos meet.
General Cigar manufactures this new offering in the Dominican Republic. This time, the aim was to produce a medium-strength Inspirado cigar. To achieve this, they use a blend of aged Dominican tobaccos. Just above this blend is an Indonesian binder followed by a smooth Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. The resulting flavors are chocolate, earth, cedar, and coffee. If you’re a devout fan of the brand or looking to take a test drive, the Cigar Aficionado 91-rated Macanudo Inspirado Green cigars are an excellent choice.
