La Flor Dominicana cigar samplers offer some of the best blends that LFD has to share. For this breakout brand, the years have been kind. And after the Andalusian Bull was named Cigar Aficionado’s 2016 Cigar of the Year, it became a household name. Now you can see ads with Litto Gomez on horseback in his fields of Dominican tobacco, confident in the success that hard work has brought him.
Cigars from La Flor Dominicana tend to be full of body, flavor, and strength. This isn’t a cigar company making nice little smooth and mild Connecticuts'. Instead, this is a brand built around the potency and richness of Dominican tobacco, known for its complex leathery character that has powered brands like Arturo Fuente, E.P. Carrillo, Aging Room, and other world-class cigar makers to the top of the charts.
This high-quality tobacco can be found in a number of blends that typically grace La Flor Dominicana cigar samplers.
The first is the famous Andalusian Bull, a 96-point beast packed with Criollo ’98, Pelo de Oro, and hybrid tobacco to round out the blend. Combined with an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, this one was absurdly complex and flavorful, offering up a banquet of wood, spice, and leather.
Another signature blend is the 93-point Double Ligero, a super-strong cigar led by pepper notes that tickle your tongue from beginning to end.
If you keep browsing, you’ll also find La Flor Dominicana cigar samplers with the Air Bender inside – it’s a 92 point complex smoke with notes of citrus, cocoa, and anise. Think that all those flavors don’t go together? You might be right, but if you’re like us, you’ll keep drawing to see what comes up next. These LFD smokes really keep your interest with a wealth of flavors.
La Flor Dominicana cigar samplers come in a few varieties. Some focus on a particular blend, offering you a number of different Vitolas so that you can experience it in varying ways. A small format smoke can be quite different from a longer size with a larger ring gauge, for example. This is because it allows the company to pack in more filler tobacco, changing the ratio of wrapper to filler and altering the flavor profile of the smoke. Other La Flor Dominicana cigar samplers offer you a wealth of blends, letting you taste all that the company has to offer across its brand portfolio.
No matter which one you choose, you’re getting a richness and potency of tobacco that’s hard to find anywhere else. Take on these complex blends, and enjoy a legacy of cigars that are made for people who like turning the dial up to “11.”
