HVC Black Friday
Much like those gifts, HVC Black Friday cigars are known to sell like hotcakes.
The HVC Black Friday cigar comes out yearly and has done since 2015. In 2021, it’s a nice compact format – 4 3/8 x 54. The blend is quite nice and features a newer type of tobacco that is just circulating among Aganorsa partners. The leaf is called Corojo 2012, and it’s used in the filler blend along with criollo 98. Connecticut broadleaf is used to bring complex and mature flavor to the cigar. Like many Aganorsa blends, it is made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa (in Estelí).
The broadleaf tobacco leads the way in the HVC Black Friday 2021 cigar, as it does in so many popular cigars. Flavors of charred meat and cherries are both in the mix, as is a really nice holiday note of buttery caramel. What a fantastic full-strength flavor profile! We always love when a cigar delivers on its theme, and this one is right on point. It’s a great comparison to the 2020 Habano, which was nutty and spicy. As we smoke it, we’re already putting a note on our calendar to get excited about the 2022 release.
No matter what year it is, we expect to quickly sell out of our HVC Black Friday cigars, so if you’re interested, please get your order in sooner rather than later! They never last the season.
