Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe cigars expand upon a tasty line that’s pure Estelí. The original Nica Rustica blend is plenty interesting, offering a Nicaraguan long-filler with a Mexican binder and a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. It’s a 90-point smoke with earthy coffee bean flavors and interesting herbal notes.

Now, we’re trying a new blend based on the concept. This time, it’s an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a Brazilian binder around the long-filler blend. The goal with Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe cigars was to up the spice a bit and revel in the local character of the land.

And that last bit winds up being what is so incredible about Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe cigars! The flavors are great – don’t get us wrong – with plentiful smoke offering muffins, baking spice, and hazelnut coffee flavors. But the value is the real headline here. While this stogie might not top the global charts, it absolutely would top the $6 cigar category. Very few cigars at this price are as enjoyable and flavorful as this. Many smokers know that quality declines gradually as you go down in price, but they would not be able to place this one in a blind test. It smokes like something decently above its weight class.

This Nica Rustica blend is strong and something you can build on. Just like the adobe bricks that have supported the homes in Nicaragua forever.
