Diesel Whiskey Row Sherry Cask cigars is a partnership and collaboration between Diesel and Rabbit Hole Bourbon. It is also the follow-up to the popular Diesel Whiskey Row cigars. The common thread between the two companies that helped make the first collaboration so special was their willingness to draw outside the lines and create something new.

This time casks originally filled with 30-year Pedro Ximénez sherry, which Rabbit Hole used to create their PX Sherry Finish Bourbon shipped to A.J. Fernandez’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Next, experts place the Arapiraca binder leaves from Central Brazil’s Alagoas region in the sherry casks, also used as bourbon barrels, and the aging process begins. They control the air within these casks to ensure the sherry flavors distribute evenly among the binders. Diesel stated that the project's goal is to provide cigar and spirits lovers a deeper sensory experience.

The blend used in Diesel Whiskey Row Sherry Cask cigars showcases Nicaraguan-aged tobaccos from three continents and a dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. But it’s the Brazilian Arapiraca binder aged in thirty-year-old Rabbit Hole Sherry Cask bourbon barrels, which is the real show stopper. The flavor notes are indeed a result, in part, of the sherry casks, though their impact is never overwhelming. Once you light up, you’ll be in another world of flavor, including chocolate, dark fruit, and pepper.
