Crowned Heads Las Calaveras
Crowned Heads Las Calaveras cigars, which were first released in 2014, are a tribute to those who left us the previous year. Like the Day of the Dead, these cigars are a celebration of life where we should focus on the good times and not the void felt by our loss. The band on every annual release displays the initials of four loved ones lost during the preceding year.
According to Crowned Heads co-founder Joh Huber, the line is among their most sought-after annual releases. For the 2020 release, they felt it was time to limit production even further, back to the initial release of 1,000 boxes per shape.
For the 2019 and 2020 Crowned Heads Las Calaveras cigars, you’ll find notes of hay, spicy black pepper, milk chocolate, and leather. What makes this complex medium-full strength stick possible is a Nicaraguan binder and filler wrapped up in a dark brown Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro leaf.
An Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper sets the 2017 blend apart from 2019 and 2020. For the Crowned Heads Las Calaveras 2017, you’ll experience flavors of smoky barbecue, nuts, cinnamon, and dark chocolate.
Please enjoy Crowned Heads Las Calaveras cigars at your leisure.
