Christian Eiroa, the founder of CLE Cigar Co., knows cigars. His grandfather Generoso Eiroa cultivated tobacco in the fields of Cuba in the 1900s. His father, Julio, worked with the Oliva family before venturing out on his own and purchasing farms year after year from the Honduran government. Christian was born and raised in Honduras and spent his life around cigar makers. He has said that the cigar business was second nature to him. In 1989 Julio took over Fumas Tobacco and started Caribe Imported Cigars, the latter of which Christian would be named president at the young age of 26.

At the age of 27, Christian blended the highly popular Camacho Corojo. After that, the hits kept coming as he created some of the finest blends in the Camacho portfolio. Most of Christian’s blending talent went into developing cigar more-full in body. With CLE Connecticut cigars, he let the industry know his blending skills extend to the world of mild-medium smokes.
