The goal was to develop a blend that provides a “unique old school Maduro experience.” It’s safe to say the Black II reached this goal and then some. These medium-strength cigars are rich and complex, with a flavor profile that will hold the interest of any Maduro lover.

The core blend of the Cavalier Genève Black II cigar is made of expertly aged Cuban seed Nicaraguan long-fillers wrapped in a binder of the same origin. Covering these is a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Like every Cavalier Genève stick, there’s a 24-karat gold foil diamond on this dark leaf.

Cavalier Genève Black II cigars come in a gorgeous box-pressed format. The box press tends to deliver a slower burn and looser draw. Many people feel this leads to greater consistency of flavor. Others argue with so many variables at play from the blend to the brand, contributing flavor consistency solely to the box press isn’t accurate. Regardless, with this format, one cannot get their entire lips around the cigar. As a result, you pull in outside air when taking a puff, resulting in a more refreshing, cool draw.
