Caldwell Lost and Found Bangers are true to their name – that little pepper on the pack is one funny dude! There’s plenty of flavor in these cigars, which pack a lot of oomph into a small cigar.

Bangers come in at 4 x 60 and are loaded with rich Nicaraguan tobacco, an interesting Sumatra binder, and your choice of two wrappers. You can go with the classic Habano or the more mature and earthy Maduro. It’s up to you. No matter which one you pick, you’ll be treated to some seriously impressive smoke production. These things get going and puff out more smoke than a factory in prime production mode.
They’re not polished cigars, by any means. Caldwell Lost and Found Bangers are rustic, with plenty of tooth and veins. You know you’re smoking a leaf that’s come from an honest field with great soil, not something that was built to be displayed in a museum. We’re not sure where Caldwell located this particular stogie, but that’s part of the fun with this line in general.
Lost and Found is all about tobaccos and cigars that are patiently waiting for their moment in the sun. Whether they were set aside to age, or an order fell through, these products missed their opportunity to ship, and went on the back burner. Plenty of growers and cigar makers have things fitting that description onsite, and Caldwell’s team is tasked with locating the good stuff and sharing it with the world. If it passes the smoke test, it can become a part of Lost and Found.
For Bangers cigars, it was a Nicaraguan company somewhere that had tobacco that was too good to pass up. The blend is surprisingly potent for a nub. It’s a ton of flavor you get, right off the bat. Bangers are peppery, with notes of bitter chocolate, and a touch of black coffee. For the Maduro version, you get more earthiness and savory sweetness on the finish, but both are quite nice to smoke. Snag a ten pack and you’ll have the perfect cigar for short breaks or for enjoying while you get a grill going before a backyard barbeque.
