Caldwell Hit And Run
That lasted six months.
With a fresh partnership, Booth is bringing an incredibly flavorful cigar to us. The Caldwell Hit and Run cigar (aka the “Room101 Hit and Run” cigar) features rich tobacco with a bit of an interesting hidden surprise. The Dominican filler is normal for Caldwell, which manufactures out of the Dominican Republic quite frequently at Tabacalera William Ventura. So is the classic Ecuadorian Habano wrapper – an inviting leaf in a caramel brown color. Inhale deeply and you’ll get a wonderful set of aromas.
Light it up and you’ll discover what the special secret is in the Caldwell Hit and Run cigar.
Amidst the expected Western Hemisphere tobaccos is an exotic Indonesian binder leaf that brings the blend to a new level of complexity. The overall taste is quite warm and pleasant. The smoke is woody and nutty, with honey and raisins on the finish. But thanks to the Indonesian tobacco, there’s an unmistakable aromatic, almost floral note in the smoke too.
Hopefully, this cigar isn’t a true hit and run for Booth. His blends are usually a good time.
