AVO Syncro Nicaragua
The Avo Syncro is probably one of Avo’s best offerings. Each blend, is intense yet smooth and balanced, using tobacco from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and other locations with rich soil representing what the company calls, “the untamed heart of Central America.”
The Avo Syncro Nicaragua was Cigar Aficionado’s #16 cigar of 2015, earning a strong 93 rating. Offering smoke with medium strength and body, this box-pressed cigar would surprise people with the wealth of depth and complexity it shows, while still being smooth and balanced. An Ecuadorian wrapper holds in a blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Peruvian filler (plus a Dominican binder). For those who want all the nitty-gritty details, you’ll get Nicaraguan tobacco from Ometepe and Dominican Piloto Cubano, San Vicente, and a hybrid Piloto/Olor leaf.
If you don’t know what the hell all that’s about, just know that this one has a ton of interesting flavor – leather, minerals, and spicy apricot, but also creamy notes from the Dominican tobacco. Those who only try one of the Syncros should give this one a shot.
