Asylum Original cigars were created by master blender Christian Eiroa. He’s the guy responsible for a number of the great Camacho blends. After Asylum co-founder Tom Lazuka caught the cigar bug during the cigar boom of the 1990s, he started working as a sales rep for Camacho. This position would prove vital to his future success since it was there that he met Eiroa. After Lazuka and Kevin Baxter, the other founder of Asylum, joined forces with Eiroa in 2012, it wouldn’t be long before they gained recognition.
Asylum Original cigars use a dark Nicaraguan Habano wrapper with a Nicaraguan filler and binder. The result is rich flavors of earth, espresso, leather, and spice.
