The Arturo Fuente Hemingway line of cigars is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic using carefully selected tobaccos. Known for its distinctive shapes and smooth character, the collection has become a favorite among cigar lovers.
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Cigars
Like any savvy businessmen, the father-and-son team behind Arturo Fuente knows how to please its customers. Every cigar line produced at Chateau de la Fuente must meet strict standards for quality, flavor, and construction. Few manufacturers set the bar quite so high. That is certainly true of the Arturo Fuente Hemingway line.
They also use some of the finest tobaccos they can grow or source. The result is a range of flavorful, distinctive, and highly rated cigars. Finally, they produce a variety of lines that offer something for everyone. Not every cigar lover is looking for a hearty, full-bodied smoke that will stop them in their tracks.
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Sizes and Flavors
Some aficionados prefer a milder blend, something smoother to enjoy without dominating the experience. The Arturo Fuente Hemingway comes in several sizes. These include Between the Lines, Untold Story, Best Seller, Classic, Signature, and Hemingway Short Story. The Short Story is one of the most highly prized vitolas in the line.
What goes into the perfect Short Story or any Fuente Hemingway? It starts with a select blend of Dominican leaves used for the filler and binder. You can almost taste the way of life enjoyed here in each puff: relaxed, warm, and easy.
These Perfectos offer rich woody undertones with notes of earthy nutmeg and cinnamon. You may also notice the aroma of freshly cut hay. The Cameroon wrapper adds balance, along with a touch of lingering spice. It pairs well with a favorite complementary drink.
Maduro wrappers are also used, although production is very limited. They can be hard to find but are highly sought after for their more robust flavor.
Keep your eyes open around Christmas and Father’s Day. The Fuentes often release a few more at these times, giving cigar lovers another chance to find them. Hemingway loved this part of the world.
