According to Ace Prime, The Sergeant cigar is, “dedicated to the heroes who fight in anonymity, the ones who self-sacrifice out of deep-rooted honor, regardless of recognition or acclaim.”
This one’s for you, Jets season ticket holders.
Oh, wait. No, it says this one is for the military. Never mind. Go back to your annually scheduled suffering. Maybe by the time you read this, you’ll be having a good season?
Ace Prime The Sergeant cigars have a doozy of a blend, cooked up by Don Eradio Pichardo, the Cuban-born master blender behind some of the stogies of this brand. He’s a fourth-generation tobacco man, with a lifetime of knowledge about how to find the right leaves and mix them together for the perfect effect. He was good enough to blend Cuban Partagas cigars, and he’s more than qualified to make his own mark now with this 2019-launched company of which he’s a co-founder.
The tobacco in the Ace Prime The Sergeant cigar is an Ecuadorian Corojo ’99 Rosado wrapper (very pretty). This is rolled over a double-Connecticut binder grown in the USA and some choice long-filler leaf from Nicaragua. Gorgeous and flavorful.
Ace Prime The Sergeant cigars were conceived thanks to a friendship with a member of the military. As Ace Prime co-founder Luciano Meirelles explains, “I was inspired by the life of my dear friend and US Marine Corp Sgt. Brian Acevedo, is one of the most altruistic and self-given persons I know. Brian is the living example of what is to put the lives of others before your own, he has encountered peril many times and stood his ground.”
Here’s to you, Sgt. Acevedo. You and everyone like you.
