The CAO America Landmark is a medium to full bodied masterpiece. The combination of two wrappers perfectly balances this blend with chocolaty notes of earth and cedar

Well dressed and balanced

Review by Wild Bill on October 04, 2011

First one I smoked had to be nursed a bit because the gorgeous wrapper wanted to unroll. The next several had no issues. As for the flavor, the Landmark is quite robust and full, something like the Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Maduro. I enjoyed trying to parse the different tastes contributed by 5 different tobaccos, though the blend actually achieves a nice harmony. It’s worth the money.

Dark and delicious

Review by fatdaddy on August 17, 2011

I love the CAO Brazilia and found the CAO America Landmark to be a deeper blend like it was infused with dark espresso. The body grows from medium to full along with the flavor. In the second half of the smoke the espresso diminished and a real Cuban-style earth and leather blend came to the fore. I’ll smoke another one for sure.

Slightly flawed but flavorful

Review by mike t on August 04, 2011

I think this cigar holds its own with the Ashton VSG on a dollar for dollar comparison. It is smooth yet strong with a very long finish that lingers nicely on the palate. Even as the strength intensified past the band it never became harsh. I needed to relight it once and mess with the burn so it loses points there. Otherwise top notch!

Good smoke, minor construction flaws

Review by Auggie P. on July 07, 2011

Just finished the last of my sampler of the CAO America Landmark and I had 5 good smokes. Two had minor construction issues but I was able to fix them and still enjoy the cigar. The full, earth and nuts flavor reminds me of the Padron Reserve No. 45 Maduro though not quite on par with that stick. I plan to buy another sampler and put them in the humie for down the road.

Grab a cold one and light it up!

Review by Robert C on June 14, 2011

The CAO America Landmark has a very easy draw – almost too easy. Don’t make too large a cut. The flavor is dense if not complex, almost like a Partagas 160. I grabbed something cold about a third of the way through and it helped immensely. I finished the cigar enjoying notes of cedar, leather and some fairly hot spice. I love the looks and was pleased with the smoke.

Progresses from sweet to spicy

Review by BigRed on June 07, 2011

I smoked a CAO America Landmark last year before putting the rest in the humidor. I didn’t care for it much. The seasoning time has improved it quite a bit. It started out creamy with some cocoa before giving way to strong leathery notes and spicy highlights of cedar and oak. The light draw made it smoke a bit fast, but otherwise decent construction.

Tastes like an RP Connecticut with a Maduro on top

Review by Hit-Man on June 07, 2011

I was gifted a couple CAO America Landmark cigars a while ago and left them in the humidor to show friends the cool design. Finally smoked one of these fatties and found it very good, but not great. Thoughts of a Rocky Patel Connecticut crossed my mind. Add a Maduro wrapper on top and you have a nice, fat RPC. I like Ligero seed tobaccos and these don’t disappoint.

Finely Balanced Toro

Review by Mark Richardson on January 10, 2011

A really fine toro cigar, full flavored and very smooth. The two wrappers produce nice interplay of sweet and crisp with some spicy leather throughout, not unlike an Oliva Serie V. With 3 fillers and 2 wrappers I expected some complexity, which I found. What surprised me was the balance of the blend with so much going on in the CAO America Landmark. It all comes together quite nicely.

The Land "Mark" does it!

Review by Smokster on December 28, 2010

CAO cigars have always been at the top of my list but the Cao America Landmark has truly left its mark. Offering a super creamy and ultra smooth taste with a slight hint of chocolate. This double wrapper beauty is a must try in my book.
