I have smoked a couple of boxes of these cigars and they were all good. Very consistant.Best cigar for the price. Better than Cubans, well, almost. I would have given it a ten but Im still waiting for that perfect cigar. Until I find it I will keep smoking these down until my fingers burn.

Another reliable, tasty smoke from Fuente. The Hemingway Signature is well-rolled, medium-bodied smoke, with an easy draw that delivered a good balance between the caramel sweetness (just a touch) of the maduro wrapper and the spice from the Dominican filler. Its an ideal smoke for contemplating the beginnings of your own classic novel.

Signature Doesnt Leave much of a Signature

Review by M Travis on January 29, 2007

I thought this cigar was a bit harsh. It burned well but about 1/2 way through the wrapper started to fall off and made for a frustrating finish. A great cigar for about 1/2 of what retail is. Ill write this one off as maybe a bad apple since most other Fuentes I have smoked are much better.

A wonderful smoke, as can be expected from most of the hemingway series, No worries here just a smooth smoke with no bite to the tounge and enough body for even the strongest of pallets

Great medium bodied cigar. The smoke was beautiful, the flavor was slightly spicy, but tasted great. Too bad it wasnt a little bit bigger.

Wow. I was quite surprised with this smoke. The wrapper was quite bumpy, but the cigar was a nice shape. The draw was nice, no real issues. The flavor was very mild starting off. Clouds of smoke (which I really like) were the high point of this cigar. Woody flavors throughout the cigar, with a slight hint of spice towards the end. Not a score reflective of your normal A. Fuente smoke.

Review by Kevin Ede on January 20, 2007

The Hemingway Signature is yet another rich and fragrant smoke from Arturo Fuente, simply delicious! This cigar has the even burn characteristics expected from Arturo Fuente cigars. It is smooth to draw and finishes well with an oaky presence that would accent any high quality Scotch or Bourbon. Every cigar aficionado should enjoy one from time to time…

Review by Carl Schluter on January 20, 2007

The Hemingway Signature is a beautiful looking cigar with a tapered foot. It has a Cameroon filter and binder that comes from the Dominican Republic. It started with a slightly nutty and cedar taste that intensified half way through the cigar. I could taste the spice, anis, all the way through this cigar which is unusual but very enjoyable. It is a mild to medium cigar. It has a smooth constant draw with lots of smoke. I highly recommend this cigar.

Review by Shawn Varner on January 20, 2007

This was probably my favorite of the Fuente line. Great shape, great draw, very complex in flavor with chocolate, pepper, and cedar coming out. The wrapper was beautiful but it was not buttery smooth. The ash was very firm and the burn was consistent all the way through. This cigar built nicely which is what I prefer, getting quite spicy towards the end, which reminds you that you are smoking. I Highly recommend this stick.

Review by Dan Talley on January 18, 2007

The Hemingway Signature was the first smoke I ever enjoyed all those years ago. Since then i have always had a stash in my humidor. The slighly mild yet full flavor and perfect draw create a smoke that can be ejoyed any time. I must caution you to not burn your fingers, this is the one that just doesnt want to be put down.

Review by Robert Mckiewicz on January 18, 2007

The Signature is a well-constructed, easy drawing smoke. Cedar notes permeat each puff. I found no caramel, nor coffee flavors as mentioned in other reviews. It does finish with a hint of black pepper. Great with cognac.

Another Great Hemingway

Review by Erik Lee on January 17, 2007

I have to say that I really like this smoke. It really has depth. It starts out medium with somewhat a green taste to it and quickly truns to a robust almost full flavor cigar with just a subtle hint of spice... never enough to make the tongue tart but just enough to taste it. Truely a great smoke.

A. Fuente Hemingway Signature

Review by Trey Harris on January 17, 2007

One of my favorites. A nice oily camaroon wrapped stick that clipped clean and had a pleasant pre-light taste and aroma. Draw was perfect and the burn was excellent with only one small corrections needed. Flavor was with mix of wood and caramel. A very nice medium bodied cigar that continued to build throughout.

Easy Does It

Review by Anthony Gutierrez on January 16, 2007

Smoking a Fuente Hemingway is a treat. Pre-light taste is so good you almost dont want to light it. The initial taste after lighting is a sensational sweet/earthy mix. It transitions into a leathery cocoa combo, the signature Fuente taste. The finish is a bit short and tinny, but still better than most other brands on the market. You must take your time smoking a Fuente or run the risk of getting it too hot and/or overwhelming your palate. A very good smoke at a great price.

A classic from A. Fuente

Review by Austin Keay on January 15, 2007

The Hemingway Signature is a pillar of consistancy from A. Fuente. This cigar draws easily and pulls a large amount of smoke. Consistant throughout with solid notes of cedar and slight leather. Also has that familiar Fuente earthiness and slight hints of spice. A good cigar at a great price!

A Fuente Hemingway Signature

Review by Steve Taylor on January 15, 2007

The A Fuente Signature is a smooth smoke from beginning to end. Mild to medium body, it starts off with a nutty flavor, produces lots of smoke with an easy draw. Moderate complexity throughout with a bit of sharpness toward the end. For A Fuente consistency is their signature. This is a very nice cigar.

Hemingway Signature

Review by David Schwartz on January 15, 2007

The Hemingway Signature was a pleasure to smoke. The wrapper had a nice chocolate color. A bit veiny but had a nice oily feel. The prelight draw was easy and the prelight flavor was of cedary notes. Upon lighting the Signature the draw was effortless and the burn was even to the nub. No touch up lighting needed. Smoking the Hemingway Signature I found it to have cedary notes and a nutty flavor. About half way I picked up a hint of leather. The finish was short and sweet. The ash was black and grey but here I found it didnt hold the ash well. It fell off about each 1/2 inch. All together the Hemingway Signature is a fine cigar. It was a pleasure to smoke and very enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good mild-medium cigar.

Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature-Cameroon

Review by The_Stogemiester on January 13, 2007

The Hemingway Signature is a nicely made Figurado with a silky smooth brown wrapper and a slight greenish hue. The wrapper had minimal vein but also looked kinda dry. The flavors were mainly cedar, toasted earth, a little pepper, with a nutty sweetness on the medium finish. The cigar was a solid medium body smoke with fair complexity. The AF Signature burned like a champ, razor sharp all the way to the finish. The ash rode along for the ride till 2 inches, were it fell off. The stogie had a very nice toasty aroma with some charred wood notes. Did I forget to mention that it had a perfect draw because it did. My overall impression of this smoke is that its smooth and tasty but nothing thats gonna just blow your socks off. Perfectly constructed and a good solid performer.

Good cigar dont get me wrong but a little over rated... I think. The taste and smell were right on the mark however, halfway through the smoke, I noticed I pulled a tree branch from the middle of the cigar, could have been just a bad stick.. A true smoker knows these things happen, shame it happened on my first attempt. I mainly stay with the Heavy Bodied Smokes.
