"Double Chateau Natural"

Cigar Review: Wonderful presentation, very uneven burn at start, very pleasant spice flavor with hints of cedar, not an everyday smoker but a great cigar, would say the draw is tight towards the middle to end. Overall great cigar bought at the PX.

Cigar Review: As an avid smoker of the sun growns, I highly recomend them. They are very spicy and bold. It's not a cigar you want before a meal, but rather after. It burns even with a good ash. This has made it's way to my every day cigar, which I enjoy very much. I just wish they were not so hard to come by. Therefore I buy them by the box.

Cigar Review: Another winner from Fuente. A nice and mild smoke.

Cigar Review: The Arturo Fuente Double Chateau is a fantastic cigar. I enjoyed the "Natural" after a long day of meetings. It was visually pleasing, being very well constructed. It had a smooth, even draw throughout the smoke, which lasted over an hour. The flavors were pleasing, starting light with just a slight increase in intensity. I highly recommend this cigar.

"A Fuente Dbl Chateau"

Cigar Review: I keep finding reasons to buy Arturo Fuente products. As they all do, the Chateau smokes smooth and clean with complex flavors- I think I tasted a bit of strawberry. Either way- a great cigar I can recommend and buy for my friends.

Cigar Review: this is a top notch cigar. lasted for a full 90 minutes with a consistent mellow but super satisfying burn and draw. this is definitely a 9 in my book!

Cigar Review: A very nice smoke. Make sure you have the time it took me two sittings. A powerful draw let you tatse the flavors. I did notice a greenish-blueish stain a finger nail lenght above the band. I don't know what that was but it seemed to not affect the overall smoke of the cigar.

Cigar Review: A delicious bouquet out of the wrapper. Years ago, my wife presented me with my first box of cigars, Double Chateaus. This cigar reminded why I have always loved them. My only problem was a crack near the cap which degressed into it losing its wrapper halfway into the smoke. Since I trust the Fuente reputation more than I trust my humidor, I will rate it favorably.

Cigar Review: I thought this we a good cigar. It burned very nicely, had good flavors and a great draw. I think the cedar flavors came from its wrapping but hey I like cedar. Get a box.

"A. Fuente Dbl. Chateau - YES!"

Billy Haboush on Monday, January 29, 2007 6:42:54 PM

Cigar Review: What a great cigar! I usually don't like the mild cigars, but this A Fuente cigar was great! A little spicy, a lot of smoke, great draw, great wrapper, great size! This is what I expect when I smoke a Fuente cigar. The only drawback, was a bit of an uneven burn. Otherwise, this was a great cigar. It smelled really good too!

Cigar Review: I enjoyed this smoke. Took this smoke in about 3 visits and each time it burned well and the flavor was good. This would be a good golf cigar for the price and staying power!

"Arturo Fuente Double Chateau - Natural"

7

Cigar Review: Arturo Fuente Double Chateau - Natural A nice vein free blonde wrapper with good oils but the streaks destract from it's beauty. The cap is decent but overall the cigar is nice, firm and solid. The flavors were cream, nuts, lots of cedar and a some occasional peppery earth on finish(only first half). The cigar had a mild-medium body with decent complexity, at times. The Double Chateau had a very inviting aroma of spice, straight up tobacco and some toasty notes. The ash hung on for about 1 1/2" b... More details

Cigar Review: Although I am a big fan of Fuente cigars. this was my first Fuente Double Chateau. The construction was flawless, but burned unevenly at the beginning. The draw could have been better, but the taste was flavorable. Will try again to see if I have a better experience.

"Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Natural"

Eli Halabu on Thursday, January 25, 2007 3:05:08 PM

7

Cigar Review: The best cigar for a round of golf...period! The cedar flavor that first hits you comes directly from the packaging. Later the spicy tones come in to balance the cigar. Fuente does it again all around from the packaging to flavor. It's a longer smoke, so make sure to light it up when you have the time needed to appriciate it!

"No Problem"

Cigar Review: The Arturo Fuente Double Chateau was no problem to keep lit for me. Fine quality and smooth draw. Not my favorite, but only one can be.

"Cedar-wrapped mildness"

Mark Klein on Thursday, January 25, 2007 12:34:58 PM

6

Cigar Review: Fuente's Double Chateau toro with the natural wrapper is an enjoyable, kick-back smoke that is mild. Complexity is lacking, but there's enough inside this (cedar-wrapped) blond wrapper to keep one's interest. The burn was a little uneven, but it did not seem to take away from the smooth flavor. Nicely made cap.

"Fuente Dbl Chat"

Christopher Reeves on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 7:00:07 AM

Cigar Review: Middle of the pack, not overly impressed, but a decent cigar for smoking while doing something else, not one to sit back and enjoy, not the greatest burn.

"Double Chateau Fuente Natural"

Robert Mckiewicz on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 5:19:09 PM

7

Cigar Review: This is a classic Fuente; well constructed, gorgeous wrapper, and easy draw. The burn was flawless, with no touches-up needed. Smoke was copious, white, and aromatic. The most pronounced flavors were cedar, and leather. Not my favorite, but what I would consider a nice MILD smoke.

"Smooth & Mild"

John Such on Monday, January 22, 2007 3:08:18 PM

Cigar Review: Another awesome cigar from The Fuente Family. I almost always smoke a maduro cigar but this was a great change up.I'm not one for natural wrappers but this one was the exception from my rule.Very mellow ,easy draw, with taste of cocoa or coffee. A hint of cedar but imagine that was from the cedar lining which is I feel a nice presentation.

"Double Chateau natural"

Cigar Review: I enjoyed this cigar Saturday morning with a couple cups of coffee. My last memory of this cigar was smoking one for a long ash contest a couple years ago, and the memory of turning green by the end of the contest had me wondering. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the creaminess and the smooth mix of nuts, leather, vanilla and a hint of cedar left on my palate. I definitely recommend this one!

"The Double"

Walter Dunton on Monday, January 22, 2007 6:30:08 AM

Cigar Review: This one has gone into my humidor for sure, I've smoked thhese before, most of the time they taste green to me, tight burning, so-so taste. Let me tell you what a year ageing does, out of they plastic, the favorites have a chance to blend and become one, the draw is so much better in time. I also have a bos of their baby brothers in the humidor.

"Natural Wrapper"

Michael Kreutler on Sunday, January 21, 2007 7:58:14 AM

Cigar Review: Good Cigar for the money as with most in the Fuente Family. I found the burn to be a little hard to deal with and the draw a little tight. That being said it had nice woody and spice tones. Great Cigar for a long car ride or a round of golf.

Cigar Review: HAD A POOR BURN WHEN I COULD KEEP IT BURNING!POOR DRAW, WENT OUT 6 TIMES AND THE OUTER WRAPPER UNROLLED AND STARTED TO FALL OFF ABOUT 1 INCH INTO IT.HAD GOOD FLAVOR ON THE PLUS SIDE BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO OVER COME ALL THE HASSLE! MAYBE GOT A ROLLED ON MONDAY MORNING CIGAR!

Cigar Review: my 1st time trying this cigar. great flavor upon lighting. i smoked this while playing darts and drinking blue moon beer with orange peel. i feel a beverage can affect the nuances of a cigar and for me these 2 went well together. also my friends enjoyed the aroma.

Cigar Review: The A. Fuente Dbl. Chateau Natural smokes cool and even with a slightly sweet nut and cedar flavor. It is a medium bodied cigar that actually gave me a nicotine buzz.

"Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Natural (6.75 x 50)"

Kevin Ede on Saturday, January 20, 2007 7:30:53 AM

8

Cigar Review: The Double Chateau Natural is an event unto itself. Easy to light, it is peppery and a bit sharp at the start. The aroma is reminiscent of my Granddad’s shop, heated by a wood stove. It lent an air of familiarity to the room. The burn is even and the flavor was awesome! The cedar makes them look elegant and expensive, but how often do we actually get to enjoy such moments? Take your time with this one… These are to be fully savored, just as the other Arturo Fuente cigars I’ve had. Get one and en... More details

Cigar Review: The Arturo Fuente Double Chateau lit easily and had a fantastic draw with plenty of smoke. Woody flavors with hints of spice, cedar. A good looking mild/medium bodied smoke.

"Double Chateau"

Cigar Review: Nice Peppery flavor with virtually no spice, a little leathery and some hints of vanilla, which I like. Good aroma and overall construction. My only complaint was that the draw was quite tight. My veins were popping out of my neck about 2/3rd through.

"Double Chateau Enjoyment"

Cigar Review: This cigar is enjoyable with a smooth medium flavor and a great deal of mellow woody smoke.

"Mild but tasty"

Anthony Gutierrez on Thursday, January 18, 2007 8:48:50 PM

7

Cigar Review: I don't usually smoke mild cigars, but this was a very nice surprise. I lit it with the cedar sleeve, which made for an interesting first taste. It mellowed out from there and remained consistent throughout. Good smoke for rookies or early daytime pleasure. I found the ash very flaky and soft. A sophisticated smoke, definitely for those smokers who don't want to overwhelm their taste buds.

"Great Value"

Ben Wong on Thursday, January 18, 2007 8:12:54 PM

7

Cigar Review: Fuente cigars are the best sellers in the US. The AF Dbl Chateau had prelight aromas both subtle and semi-sweet. Lighting up the first few puffs are both creamy and thick. Nuts, cacao, and butter notes are present with a slight spicy undertone on the palate. Burn was not perfect but parts of the wrapper that trail behind end up catching up nicely. Overall, a very nice lighter smoke.

"A. Fuente Double Chateau"

Jeff Michaels on Thursday, January 18, 2007 7:14:48 PM

Cigar Review: Another masterpiece from the Fuente family. It was perfect from start to finish. What more can I say.

"Double Chateau Natural"

Jermi Halabou on Thursday, January 18, 2007 4:17:39 PM

Cigar Review: WARNING!!! Light up this cigar only if you have at least 2-3 hours to kill. Even though I prefer the sun grown wrapper in the Chateau line this mild cigar hit the spot after a rough day. After a nice steak and glass of wine, I can think of no better way to wind down the day.

"Natural"

Dan Talley on Thursday, January 18, 2007 6:03:05 AM

Cigar Review: I must admit i was pleasantly surprised by this smoke. The aroma was subtle out of the wrapper, and was penetrated by the cedar lining. The smoke came through mild and somewhat fruity with a hint of cedar. a very nice light mid day smoke.

Cigar Review: This was a wonderful, creamy smoke. The cedar over wrap imparted a wonderful aroma and a spiceness to the flavor. Highly recommended.

"A decent fuente"

Erik Lee on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 5:24:35 PM

7

Cigar Review: This was decent for a Fuente (great compared to just any smoke) it was medium to full with tangy almost hints of tart. It burned quit evenly with plenty of thick smoke. This is the type of smoke that you really want to take your time with because when you smoke it fast it becomes harsh. Smoke it slow and it quite pleasurable!

"A. Fuente Dbl Chateau Natural"

David Schwartz on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 12:39:27 PM

7

Cigar Review: The A. Fuente Dble Chateau Natrual is a long smoke. The wrapper was smooth but a bit veiny. The burn was even for the most part and only required one touch up. Draw was nice and easy and the ash was a nice dark grey with touches of black. Held on for about an inch and a half before falling. I found the A.Fuente Dbl Chateau to have flavors of leather and cedar. The cedar probably brought on by the cedar sleeve it is wrapped in. The Dble Chateau started off very flavorful but about half way became... More details

"Another Fuente masterpiece"

Robert Hayes on Monday, January 15, 2007 8:33:07 PM

Cigar Review: Silky Conneticut shade wrapper with hints of cedar, this cigar begs to be smoked. The draw was a little tight, not typical of this cigar. Mild bodied.

"A. Fuente Double Chateau/ Natural"

Trey Harris on Monday, January 15, 2007 1:41:31 PM

8

Cigar Review: This double chateau from Arturo Fuente was a beautiful cigar from the beginning to end. The wrapper was unblemished with a consistent light honey color. The draw and burn were perfect producing a light gray ash that held well. Body started mild but build throughout to medium. Unfortunately, the flavors remained somewhat one dimensional. Still, a very nice morning smoke if you have time for a double chateau.

Cigar Review: A. Fuente Double Chateau is a very attractive cigar, cedar wrapped with a green ribbon. The cigar is firm and heavy. The taste is woody leathery and tangy but not to spicey, It is also a very full tasting cigar with lots of creamy smoke. You will be back for more!
