The wrapper is a Nicaraguan broadleaf grown in the Jalapa Valley. This wrapper will surprise people, as broadleaf wrappers cultivated in Nicaragua are uncommon in the industry. Each leaf in this cigar aged for five to six years before rolling.

Cohiba Royale cigars have a fuller body profile though they are balanced enough for people new to this side of the good life.
