ABOUTDiamond Crown Maximus
You may find a unicorn grazing in your backyard before you ever have a chance to smoke these Diamond Crown Maximus cigars. This cigar is made of select tobaccos in limited production runs, contributing to their scarcity.
The Diamond Crown Maximus has a filler of specially blended Dominican tobaccos, six or seven of them in fact. J.C. Newman decided to employ an aged Ecuadorian El Bajo wrapper, courtesy of the renowned Oliva family, while creating this version of the famous Diamond Crown Cigars first released in 1995. The Maximus, released a decade later, needed something extra special to trump the success of its predecessor.
The Diamond Crown Maximus is an incredibly well-balanced blend of spice, pepper, and cocoa, a flavor combination encountered in cigars of premium pedigree. The Maximus is not delicate but leans heavily toward the medium-full end of the flavor spectrum. As expected in a cigar of this quality, the construction is solidly on point, producing a nice and even burn with a firm ash that clings to the cigar nicely.
If you manage to acquire a box of Diamond Crown Maximus cigars, do not let them go easily from your humidor. Ponder the importance of the event you may be celebrating. Consider the weight of the decision you will be making tomorrow. Meditate on the implications of the path you took during the day. A Maximum is the type of cigar that is worthy of these occasions and cannot be smoked in haste and without reflection. Save them for the real life-changing events of your world.
