The history of the Torano family dates back to 1916 when Don Santiago Torano emigrated from Spain to Cuba and became a leaf tobacco broker. By 1959, the Torano family had become one of the biggest and best-known tobacco growers in Cuba. Today, the Torano family owns and operates cigar factories in both Honduras and Nicaragua, and produces almost 20 million cigars annually. The Torano cigar line features a variety of flavorful and expertly constructed cigars, from the Exodus Silver to the 1916 Cameroon. In addition to their own line of cigars, the Toranos also make cigars for such reputable brands as Gurkha, Alec Bradley and CAO. Today the company is overseen by father and son Charlie and Carlos who maintain the tradition set forth by their forefathers.

Carlos Torano Cameroon 1916 Cigars

The 1916 is a well-balanced and slow-burning medium-bodied cigar with notes of pepper and sweet spice. This tasty cigar also delivers a long and woody finish. In addition to the Cameroon wrapper, the binder is Havana-seed Nicaraguan and the filler is a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos.

Carlos Torano Casa Torano Cigars

This cigar features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and a Nicaraguan tobacco binder. Formerly produced exclusively for the Torano family, this delicious cigar is a blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan and other Central and South American tobaccos.

Carlos Torano Exodus Silver Cigars

The Exodus Silver is a wonderfully complex medium-bodied cigar with flavors of citrus and wood. The Silver has a Criollo wrapper that blends beautifully with the Costa Rican binder and fillers from Honduras, Mexico and Costa Rica.

Carlos Torano Noventa Cigars

The Noventa is a much-deserved celebration of the Torano family’s 90 years in the tobacco industry. This hand-selected and carefully aged blend of Pueblo Nuevo, Esteli, Jalapa and Condega tobaccos is wrapped and bound in Habano Nicaraguan tobacco.

Carlos Torano Reserva Selecta Cigars

The Reserva Selecta blend is a soft, cool smoke with notes of sweet cream and cedar. It has a long, herbal finish. All the tobaccos in this cigar are aged a minimum of three years.

Carlos Torano Virtuoso Cigars

The Virtuoso is the first Torano to ever be produced with a Nicaraguan sun-grown wrapper. The blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran and Panamanian filler tobaccos delivers a dark, rich body with notes of roasted coffee, cocoa and spice.
