The Montecristo 135 th Anniversary is a strong Nicaraguan Puro with great taste- stronger than most Monty’s smoked in the past but is a well- balanced smoke between strength and flavor. Not for beginners- too strong !

So I always have a penchant for avoiding non-Habanos, but Cuban branded smokes like Montecristo, Cohiba, R&Y, etc. I took exception since these were highly rated and they have turned out to be one of my most pleasurable premium cigar smokes. The construction, burn, smoke (voluminous!) and rich taste make them a new favorite. You cannot go wrong (I hesitate to extol their virtues only cuz then others will snag them up before I can reorder!). Buy without reticence, you will be pleased you did.

I truly enjoyed this cigar! Rich, bold, yet delicate and delicious! Great even burn and fantastic draw right down to the final third. It paired very well with an Old Fashioned and sunset on the gulf shores Florida beach the other night!
