Although most who read this will likely get a chuckle out of my inexperience, it will be an honest review of what I think is one of the best cigars around... If you take all the descriptions of the taste and character of cigar smoke that you read about on posts like this, you will find thousands of people with as many opinions as there are cigars trying to describe with words something akin to describing sound or sight or touch by making comparisons to everything from Hersheys Kisses to petunias or a host of things from bottles in an over-stocked spice rack... (Although, you cant really have an over-stocked spice rack in the real world...) Coffee, Floral notes, Leather, Chocolate, Pepper, Earthy, or???? The fact of the matter for a novice cigar smoker is this... Smoldering tobacco in as many blends as you can imagine smells and tastes like smoldering tobacco in as many blends as you can imagine but nowhere in there is there vanilla, cream, pepper, chocolate, coffee, horseradish, dandelion greens, fig newtons, or spinach..... It tastes like burning tobacco... I happen to like burning tobacco... I also like the dopamine produced by smoking... May I have a cigar with woody, floral, dopamine please? That brings us to this.... The Macanudo is one of the best tasting smoldering tobacco products I have had the pleasure of smoking! It goes good with coffee, wine, IPA, Bushmills and Dr. Pepper... Oh well, so I lied about the Pepper... Simply Limeade is good too... Also a large glass of cold fresh filtered water... Here end-ith the lesson! S. W.
