The Liga Privada #9 is one of my all time favorite sticks that I have been enjoying for a long time. It appears to me that Swisher has influenced the #9 of today and it is not as good as it used to be. The transition has been slow, but with the high level of popularity and pressure to meet demands it appears to me that the #9 produced today is not as good as they used to be. It is still a solid smoke, it used to be an awesome smoke. From what I have read the #9 was created from the best of the best leaves from 7 different plants for the boss and employees, and was never intended for sale. It makes sense you can only make so many best of the best before the product to make more runs out. I guess it is better to get a #9 that is a little bit less, than to not get one at all? It is still a good smoke, too bad the price did not drop a little with the quality.
